How can I get a message to the people who designed this that the bright white panels round the images ruin my eye sensitivity. Make the surrounds dark and restful to the eyes and the moving objects would be much more visible.

    I second this.

I find that the inverted display works well.

Ditto. Also I find that it is much easier to notice moving object in the final frame where it is shrunk down. In addition to the time lapse / four quadrants options could we get a small view option?

You should always be looking at inverted images ... it is much easier to see dark on white than white on dark - in fact, I'm quite surprised that inverted images aren't the default display
