I was an object in the first image I views that was a spot with a Victorian collar (or maybe the eskimo nebula). I didn't see anything like that in the introduction. It moved almost randomly so I decided it was an artifact, but would like to know what it was.

As for this image, up by the bright object almost at the top, on the third frame, an object pops in and then is out of the other frames. It almost looks like it is showing phase. Is that another random artifact?

Yeap, it is most like a "hit" by a cosmic ray. You should actually be able to see how, unlike all stellar objects in that image, that hot pixels area does not have slightly softer and dimmer edges.
