  I would love to give a hard rule set...

  It's more important to find asteroids - if you find yourself getting bogged down with artifacts, that's not what we have in mind. This will be a judgement call if you think it's a feature that would confuse algorithms looking for asteroids or should be something we know about.

  I don`t know what an algorithm is ,yet alone know what would confuse one lol.

  Must be something to do with your computer , so just tell it to look for things that move in a straight line and is white.
  give it a max length of dot and nearly everything in the pics is cancelled out.
