  Can see a slightly clearer example of this type of lens flare here: AAZ0001kn2

  But they often show up like this: AAZ000007k

  Thanks CTidwell3 - that's a common feature of these images - this is a pretty good sized telescope, so whenever it looks at a star that would be bright enough for you to see, it'll produce this effect.
