zigzag movement

  have an object moving in a zig zag circle. Thinking its a "Hot Pixel / Cosmic Ray" possibly? anyone any thoughts?

  Yeap, anything not exhibiting a linear motion is not a real object. The zig-zags are usually caused by dithering the telescope slightly between exposures of the same fields so that it is easier to find these false positives.
