image registration correction
New to this Zoo. It seems that the images have been fairly well registered on on top of the other, but there are many cases where they seem to bounce up and down or side to side from one frame to the next. Has there been any thought given to allow the user to make minor registration adjustments as they view a series? (1) It might help them to identify asteroids better if the alignment was better, and (2) perhaps some sort of weighted average could be used to adjust the series as presented to subsequent viewers, as I assume the same series is shown multiple times.
Not a bad idea at all. It should be fairly simple to record (x,y) offsets and use them to display the quads in the future
