Brigtest Start gets crossed?

It seems something gets in the way of the brigest star on the picture, a bit to the under left corner. Some ideas???

The dark spot happens when the star is so bright it totally saturates the detector in the area. Typically you'll get stripes that extend out of the core of the star that come with that.
