A quick update from Dr. Asteroid

by DZM admin
Scientist Matt Beasley (Dr. Asteroid here on Talk) is out of his office this week, but he asked me to share the following updates (his words):
We’re working with MPC – reducing the residual errors in location is
the finicky detail that we have to work through. This work is slowed
by massive blizzard in Boston. (turns out, when people can’t get to
work that’s not quite awesome)Second: After doing some other work on the Catalina archive we’re
finding that there are a fairly significant number of main belt
asteroids. That analysis continues.Hope this helps keep all you awesome classifiers informed of what's happening on the science team's end of things!

Probably nothing new... Give it another couple of weeks, and I'll check in with the doc. It seems like everything with the MPC moves pretty slowly...

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to know at least which images have been sent to MPC?
